FORT WORTH, Texas (December 13, 2023) - At a previous meeting the Tarrant Appraisal District Board of Directors engaged a third-party information technology investigative firm to
inquire on potential interference with TAD's information systems. To TAD's knowledge the investigation is ongoing and no final report has been provided to the TAD Board of Directors. With the pending
investigation, claims made on its findings by external entities are unfounded and unsupported by the investigative firm. Any question regarding the investigation and/or contract with the third-party
investigators should be directed to Matthew Tepper, attorney for the Board of Directors.
Tarrant Appraisal District is a special purpose local government that performs mass appraisal services as
accurately as possible based on the data and information collected from the local real estate market. The district follows all state laws in performing this function and aims to provide outstanding customer
service to the taxpayers of Tarrant County.
